Welcome to Techsavvygen

Tech-Savvy gen is a movement focused on creating an emphasis on computer science and technology from a young age. As a society, we are witnessing a radical shift towards a more tech-savvy generation. Furthermore, for the coming generations to succeed and prosper in such a fast-paced world, education within classroom settings must also advance at the same rate. However, in reality, the classroom setting has not been capable of providing the opportunities and time required to further our young generation’s pursuit of knowledge and education.

Our Mission

Tech-Savvy gen is a movement focused on creating an emphasis on computer science and technology from a young age. As a society, we are witnessing a radical shift towards a more tech-savvy generation. Furthermore, for the coming generations to succeed and prosper in such a fast-paced world, education within classroom settings must also advance at the same rate. However, in reality, the classroom setting has not been capable of providing the opportunities and time required to further our young generation’s pursuit of knowledge and education. I was fortunate enough to be provided with the learning opportunity to pursue my curiosity for computer science starting at a young age, my dad being in the computer science field and my mom being an educator, realized the importance of computer skills when I was young and helped me acquire them starting at an early age. Sadly, many in our community and schools are not privileged with widespread access to such resources, education, and guidance throughout their learning years. Not every student gets an opportunity to receive the skillset and help they need to succeed. Through Tech-Savvy Gen medium, my vision is to provide the essential skillset to our young generation starting at early elementary to recognize them be an actual tech-savvy generation. Tech-Savvy Gen hopes to break this barrier and provide learning opportunities to everyone in our community. I consider myself blessed to be capable of helping my community kids acquire these necessary and essential computer science education to help them reach their full potential.
